Wow, now this is an amazing instrument! The chechen fingerboard and hard rock maple neck plays buttery smooth and the solid mahogany body features a Nordstrand’s MM 5.2 dual coil pickup with Alnico V magnets and heavy Formvar wire that supplies the bass with a powerful low end punch and dark, scoopy midrange. It summons a 70s style tone that illustrates the unique, darkened texture of the MusicMan style; and its beefy presence will combat any clank that can sometimes be found in high-end bass frequencies.
The finish really stands out and is one of the nicest we've seen with a red that really pops while still letting the wood shine through. The contrast of the black hardware takes the bass straight to the darkside.
